- As a Mechanical technician must have an experience on troubleshooting on Diesel engine by performing regular diagnostic checks, Minor and Major repairs of Diesel Engines including overhauling and Medium Knowledge of Electrical.
- To conduct regular preventative maintenance on the Diesel Engines including inspection, filters, and oil changes
- To be responsible to achieve 100% Plant Maintenance under the contract with customer for Annual Maintenance
- Perform A/B/C/D Check maintenance procedure compliance for Cummins DG sets
- Can supervise for daily/schedule maintenance / events & provide update to Head Office as a current status.
- To maintain accurate records of each repair performed on the Diesel Engines
- For completing the service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims via handwritten forms
- To timely submit the monthly reports on availability and project quality reports.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to site management and to their supervisor.
- Knowledge in English speaking & writing will be extra advantage.
Education Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Number of Years of Experience: 8 - 10 years, P.S.: Experience of working in Operation & Maintenance on Diesel Engine Generators of size more than 625 kVA and of CUMMINS make Engines will be an added advantage,

- Have handled maintenance of Cummins Diesel Engines from 500 kVA to 3000 kVA ratings
- To conduct regular preventative maintenance on the Diesel Engines including inspection, filters, and oil changes
- Familiar with troubleshooting & fixing the breakdown in minimum time frame
- Health check / preventive maintenance / monitoring of Cummins Diesel engine series
- Hands on experience of A/B/C/D Check maintenance as per Cummins guidelines
- Handling existing AMC customers independently for defined Area & fixing new customers
- Hands on Experience in Top Overhauling / Full Overhauling of Diesel Engines ('Inline' and 'V' type)
- Maintain service work reports on daily, weekly, or monthly basis
- Experience in trouble shooting regarding issues related on engine either electrically or mechanically nature like engine not starting, engine not taking load, overheating, high lube oil consumption, fuel consumption
- Having experience in Installation of new diesel engine with acoustic enclosure and without acoustic enclosure
- Experience in maintaining spare parts / Inventory management should be there
- Review with Head Office & assist for parts procurement and maintain the stock / parts inventory for customer and/or to achieve contract Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Support Head Office for all technical issues at customer’s site.
- Attending to Customer calls & & implement corrective action.
- Having Leadership skills to Manage the team
- Knowledge of English language to communicate is a MUST
Education Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering - Electrical or Mechanical
Number of Years of Experience: 10 - 12 Years P.S.: Significant experience working in a Power Plant site or with a Dealer / local representative having relevant Service activities experience on CUMMINS Engines

- To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities.
- High Voltage / Low Voltage experience.
- Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision – hands on exposure to working on power generation products.
- Ability to effectively train and guide less experienced technicians of varying skillsets
Education Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Number of Years of Experience: 15 - 18 Years P.S.: Significant relevant technician experience; qualified to perform work on most or all of products in-scope for a technician at this location related to a Power Plant
