Rupin. J. Rajani – Chairman
Rupin is a third generation east African who founded Hansa Group in the year 2000 and is designated as the CEO since then. Prior to this, he served as an Executive Director with Rajani Industries till 1999. His career with Hansa Group spans 28 years across Asia & Africa. Today, Hansa Group is majorly involved in sectors like Power, Mining, Oil & Gas, Rail, Marine, Energy, Transportation, and Commercial & Passenger Vehicles. Geographical presence of Hansa Group is pan EAC member states and SADC. Rupin has completed his MBA from Institute of Management Development, Lausanne, Switzerland. He also holds a Bachelor degree of Sciences and B.A in economics. He serves on the Board of various Industry Associations. Rupin is personally engaged in philanthropic and socio-political activities. His place of residence is Dar es Salaam (Tanzania).
Raghavendra Patil – Chief Operating Officer
Raghu is credited as one of the pioneers who transformed Hansa Group into a high-end solution providing company. He began his career with the Maruti Suzuki Dealer Services in India where he worked for seven years in Sales, Service, Parts and Dealer Network management and moved out when he was Assistant General Manager. Then he joined Diamond Motors Limited, Tanzania for 10 years holding different positions as Manager Dealer Development, Sales Manager and moved out when he was General Manager- Sales. In 2002 he moved to Dubai and established Tradex Middle East, which today is an independent company covering African market. Raghavendra holds Bachelors in Automobile Engineering and an MBA in Marketing from Shivaji University.
He is a member of Automobile Engineers Association, Western India Automobile Association, and Surveyors Association of India. He stays in Pune with his wife and two daughters.
